IVF Treatment – Overcoming Infertility

As much as the stress, disappointment and agony associated with a diagnosis of infertility, it is nothing that can’t be overcome. Most cases of infertility are treatable, provided you make the correct choice of a hospital advanced in terms of skilled professional, infrastructure and efficiency.
One of the most popular techniques for treating infertility IVF or In Vitro Fertilisation techniques is known to have the highest success rate among all ART (Assisted Reproduction Techniques) procedures.
IVF treatment involves the fusing of egg and sperm collected from the potential parents in a laboratory setting and implanting the embryo into the mother’s womb once the fertilisation process is completed. It is usually performed in cases when conception does not occur due to failure of natural fertilisation procedure.
http://fertility-treatment.in/ivf-treatment-delhi.html

IVF is effective in women who are encountering ovulation issues due to factors such as age. It is useful in case of patients with reproductive system disorders such as endometriosis or defective fallopian tubes. The procedure helps in overcoming male infertility issues as well.
IVF Procedure
The procedure of IVF involves extraction of egg from women and sperm from men. In women with ovulation issues, the egg is extracted after stimulating ovulation with help of drugs or hormone therapy. Sperm is collected from men either through masturbation or by specific extraction processes.
The best quality eggs and sperms from the extracted lot are combined in a lab within a controlled chamber and left for a period of 3 to 5 days. The embryo is then transferred to the womb for implantation.
The process of IVF is not without risk. Although this is the case, the assistance of a skilled doctor can help in eliminating most of them. Some of the risk factors associated with the process include ectopic pregnancy, increased probability for multiple births, infections, bleeding and so on.
Fertile Solution IVF and Research Centre is one of the leading centres for infertility treatment lead by the expertise of a skilled faculty of professionals headed by Dr. Ruchi Malhotra, one of the best gynaecologists in Delhi.

Endometriosis Treatment – Relieving Pain

Endometriosis, a disorder of reproductive system in women, is known to be a major cause of female infertility. It occurs when the tissues lining the inside of uterus, also called uterine walls, tends to grow outside the uterus and its associated parts like ovaries and fallopian tubes. It may also lead to sticking together of these organs.
The condition of endometriosis causes a lot of pain and discomfort. They cause an irregularity of periods and menstrual cycle, hence leading to infertility.
http://fertility-treatment.in/endometriosis.html

Treatment for endometriosis
Endometriosis treatment depends on the age of the patient, extent of the issue and intensity of the pain. Endometriosis treatment is discussed in detail below.
  • Medications: Medicines are administered in endometriosis treatment for controlling pain and bleeding associated with the condition. The medicines given depends on the extend of pain, presence and intensity of bleeding. Popular medications for endometriosis include non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or NSAIDs, pain killers and so on. Birth control pills also helps in controlling pain and regulating periods.
  • Hormonal therapy: Hormonal therapy helps in controlling the effects of endometriosis, though it cannot permanently cure the disease. It helps in preventing more endometrial growth. Hormonal therapy can be done with the help of hormonal contraceptives, Gn-RH (Gonadotrophin Releasing Hormone) agonists and antagonists, progestin therapy, danazol and so on.
  • Conservative Surgery: An effective endometriosis treatment, surgery helps in removal of endometrial tissue. It can be done laparoscopically which is more effective and simpler than conventional surgery techniques. It helps in curing pain and endometriosis though endometrial tissue can grow back.
  • Assisted Reproductive Technology: This method helps in addressing the infertility issue. Women who cannot conceive naturally due to endometriosis can highly benefit with this technique.
  • Hysterectomy: Done only in severe cases of endometriosis, hysterectomy involves the removal of uterus and cervix. Hysterectomy is not usually done in women within the reproductive age. It is performed as a last resort only.
Fertile Solutions IVF and Research Centre based in Delhi offers quality treatments for infertility and other reproductive system disorders.

Overcoming Infertility With IVF

With an increased incidence of infertility disorder among men and women, IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) as an Artificial Reproductive Technique (ART) has become quite popular. Popularly known as test tube baby procedure, IVF is the most effective infertility treatment procedure of ART.
IVF Procedure
The procedure of In Vitro Fertilization involves the coupling of egg and sperm outside the body. The process involves collection of egg and sperm from the woman and man through special techniques. In women, medications are given to stimulate the production of eggs. These are then removed through a minor surgery.

The collected egg and sperm are analysed for quality and the best are combined together in a lab in environmentally controlled chamber. After fertilization takes place, it is implanted in the womb which later develops as pregnancy. In case of sperm irregularities or failure in fertilisation, methods such as ICSI are used.

Scope of IVF
IVF is usually done when other treatments like fertility drugs, medication, artificial insemination and surgery fails. IVF is performed in the following cases: -
  • Endometriosis
  • Problems with ovulation
  • Low sperm count
  • Antibodies issues that harms sperm or eggs
  • Low sperm survival rates in cervical mucus

Risk factors
Though common, IVF is a somewhat complicated process. There are some risk factors associated with IVF like: -
  • Miscarriages
  • Multiple pregnancies
  • Premature delivery and low birth weight
  • Over stimulated ovaries
  • Chances like infections, bleeding and so on that can occur during egg retrieval
  • Ectopic pregnancy
The rate of success of IVF depends on factors like age, the reasons of infertility and the procedure opted for treatment. Women undergoing IVF below the age 35 years have higher chances of conceiving than those beyond that age.

Fertile Solutions IVF and Research Centre based in Delhi, is specialised in infertility treatment procedures like IVF, Ovulation Induction Treatment, Intrauterine insemination and so on. Under the expertise and leadership of Dr. Ruchi Malhotra, the hospital has an advanced infrastructure and updated treatment techniques.

Have You Been Trying For A Baby Since Long?

In vitro fertilization otherwise called as Test tube baby procedure is the treatment which is availed for infertility issues. This is an advanced assisted reproductive technology helping women with infertility issues. This is the process of combining woman’s egg and the man’s sperm outside of the body in a sterile laboratory Petri dish. IVF is performed in the cases of blocked, damaged fallopian tubes, endometriosis, PCOS etc. IVF is also used to treat male infertility problems.
http://www.fertility-treatment.in/about-fertile-solutions-ivf-research-center/

The protocol of In vitro fertilization (IVF)
First of all fertility drug is administered to the woman, to induce egg production. With the aid of a minor surgery, the mature eggs are retrieved from the uterus. If a woman is unable to produce eggs, donor eggs will be considered for IVF with the patient’s consent. The quality eggs are combined with sperms and the fertilization occurs within few hours. When IVF fails, ICSI (Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection) method is performed by injecting a single sperm into the healthy egg. Once the embryo is formed it is then transferred into the womb within 3-5 days of fertilization.

The common disadvantages of IVF:
  • Ectopic pregnancy
  • Multiple pregnancies
  • Miscarriage
  • Low birth weight with premature delivery
  • Complications such as infection, reaction to anaesthesia, bleeding, etc. during egg retrieval
Fertile Solutions IVF & Research Center provides excellent IVF treatment in Delhi. Our fertility centre offers high-end and international level treatment by the Dr. Ruchi Malhotra the best infertility specialist in Delhi.

Why Recurrent Miscarriages Happen ?

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss or recurrent abortion is the condition in which 3 or more consecutive miscarriages happen generally before 20 weeks of the gestational period.

http://www.fertility-treatment.in/recurrent-abortions/

The causes for recurrent abortion are listed below:
  • Anatomical problems of the uterus such as abnormal shape, cervical weakness or fibroids
  • Maternal infections such as rubella, measles etc.
  • Endocrine problems, problems are associated with hormone levels
  • When women crosses the maternity age
  • Blood clotting disorder, the chances of blood clotting are more than normal.
A chromosomal defect in either (or both) of the parents, genetical problem
Women with high levels of antiphospholipid antibodies in the blood may experience miscarriage, premature or still birth.

To assess early pregnancy transvaginal ultrasound is more effective. If the patient is at increased abortion risk some tests will be performed such as parental chromosome testing, blood tests to find out the thyroid, ovarian function, diabetes, thrombophilia etc.

Using blood thinning medicines like heparin, aspirin the Antiphospholipid Syndrome can be rectified to some extent.

For chromosomal defects, the patient may be referred with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment in which the embryos will undergo chromosomal defect test before transferring them to the womb. There are some cases who do not have exact causes for miscarriage. Then the patients will have higher chances of attaining pregnancy in near future.

Fertile Solutions IVF & Research Center provides excellent Fertility Treatment in Delhi and they are outstanding to treat recurrent abortion issues. The doctors and staffs scrutiny the root cause of any problem and then treat accordingly.
